Tonight's Loonie line-up consisted of Chooch, LunarLady, Yose, 4 Joyce, Molly and TwoBees.

Tonight the Loonies once again displayed that they are a "Force to be reckoned with" as they displayed their talents against Acro Pool. The Acro Pool team were great challengers but had so many boot problems that I'm sure it ruined their concentration. We all had a great time 'chalking' up another Loonies win!

We are all hanging out in the asylum when I received this message,

Due to a scheduling mix up the testies are left with no team to play at 9est.......We have our squeaky clean players schedule but are willing to play anu type of game ....if anyone want to play please give me a shout ...thanx

Saturday, May 14th

Tonight's game against the Nite Owls was perhaps one of the finest line-ups of players that I have seen in ages. Both teams lined up they're best players for a head to head battle. Our Loonie line up included Acro Batman, Red Bird, Jackdill,
Singshine, Suziwong and TwoBees.
Game one showed our Batman winging his way to the top only to be promptly booted :-( but Red Bird took flight, followed by most of the other Loonies. Loonies battled on to win the first game 116 to 55 with Red Bird and Jackdill in FO.

Family Jewels, May 21st

Tonight's straightjacketed participants were Fafa, Jackdill, Acro Batman. LunarLady, Suziwong, Gulftide and TwoBees.

It was a night of frustration and Computer problems for this weary Captain, but still it was fun to sit back and watch the Loonies strut their stuff. My thanks to Suziwong for gathering team members when I couldn't message out on ICQ. Also thanks to mookie for being available for us even though we had to do some quick last minute player changes. A gentle reminder to all Loonies, please be oline ten minutes prior to match times. It really makes us look unorganized when we have to call in subs then send them out again when the person whom is suppose to play shows up a minute before the game starts.
Anyways, our lack of enthusiasm was certainly on display in the first game. I think of the somewhat annoying little jabs that were being traded amongst opposite team members put us all a little on edge. I guess we were expecting a bruhaha that never happened, I know I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for an explosion. A note to the Family Jewels team... we pass out autographs after the performance, not during.
The Family Jewels displayed their greatness in Game One with round after round of excellent acros. Jewels were strutting some excellent stuff and by now we realized that this was gonna be a really tough show.

The Loonies, as LunarLady so brilliantly stated, lulled the Jewels into a false sense of security. We decided to buck up a bit and show the Jewels just how tough we were. Jackdill's amazing acro (Unlucky number Thirteen) score him a whopping 13 points in round one. Lucky us LOL..... and our fafa was not far behind him. The Jewels scored a couple of great one's and it was getting tense. Game Two ended with our guys in FO and a Loonies victory. Kudos you guys you deserve it for some amazing work. The score was tied one for the Family Jewels, one for the Loonies and both teams plunged into the third game with a determination to win. It became a heated battle of wits. with first one team then the other trading places. The Family Jewels looked like they might have a win in the first two rounds, but then a cry echoed through the halls. A cry of "Let's go Loonies, Let's go" followed by a cry of "Let's do it for Samm-e" and the Loonies heard the call and responded. Nite Owls, May 24th

The Loonies lost the match against the Nite Owls tonight... but not without a vailiant effort on the part of the participants. The Loonies that participated were TwoBees, LunarLady, Red Bird, Skip!, Chooch, JackDill and Singshine.
Not really a whole lot to say here, I guess I'm mostly disappointed, but we did try. We had fun too, so I guess that's what really counts. I was unable to get the stats or the snapshots for game one. Someday, my computer will cooperate, along with my brian.

Tonight's straight-jacketed participants were TwoBees, Yose, Molly, Rikfin, 4Joyce, Mookie, Penguin and then Singshine.
We choose Top Players as our room for the evening and that was perhaps an excellent choice on my part. All the participants were
excellent players and a fun match ensued. The acrobot was being pesky again and we suffered major boots and lags, as well as a snert fest all during the game. The Loonies put on a valiant effort with a Loonie appearing against a Toon in each of the 3 FO's. However we ended up losing the match by a mere one point before the 5 point FO bonus in the last game.
Game One had Yose in face off with Toon's HotStuff and Yose brought home the Bacon for the Loonies team wtg Yose.

We lost Penguin during the beginning of the second game and singshine graciously came to our rescue.
Game Two saw 4Joyce in FO with a Toon but the game was already won before FO with the Toons scoring 106 to the Loonies 82

TwoBees and a Toon in FO with TwoBees getting a Birthday greeting on ICQ right in the middle of the FO and suffering a terrible lag as a result. I didn't get that last acro in but it was a good one... hahaha. Oh well stuff happens and as far as a great time and an excellent bunch of players I'll have to give the Toons a 10.

Dream Weavers September 21st (L1-2)

Loonies verses Couch Taters  Wed, 27 Oct 1999

Loonies' line-up was Molly, Yose, Red Bird, 4Joyce, Shadesbreath, TwoBees and Hamlette
((((wb Lady, we missed you.)))))) Rik... sorry your Computer was giving you such a terrible time.

Couch Tater challengers were Hawkins, Dirt (aka as Art) Kat, Brad, Sandwizch, Jagr and Talkzalot

Somewhere lost in cyberspace floating in bits and pieces are the Stats form this game.... somewhere but not on this hard drive :-(. Sorry folks, I managed to write down the categories, but somewhere in all the confusion and frustration I managed to forget to do the Stats. I won't go into long dreary details because you really had to be there.... apparently I wasn't. At any rate it started out to be a really fun-filled game, with lots of lively banter in the chatbox and the Loonies showing the Couch Taters that we can adapt to almost any type of play. Molly and Yose led the gang up to the top of the chatbox with the rest of the Loonies in hot pursuit. Then it happened all of a sudden they were gone, taking Red Bird with them... POOF our top lineup disappeared all in the matter of seconds.
The battle continued as we licked our wounds and regained our composure with Shadesbreath and myself ending up in FO and the Loonies capture game one.
The Couch Taters retaliated in Game Two with Red Bird facing Hawkins in FO... Hawkins wins and
the Couch Taters take the win.
It's down to the wire now the match is tied one for one... final decisions hold our fate in balance.
Molly, Yose and Shadesbreath lead the Loonies once again and POOF Yose disappears, a Tater
disappears and a Tater has to leave. Yose returns but there are no signs of the booted Taters.
I won a round and then another and suddenly I see a "you want to hold up till we get some Taters in here" entered into the chatbox.... so I call a halt to the game. An apparent mistake on my part. What was said in jest was taken as a request for a TIme Out and apparently no one seemed to understand why. Well like I said... you had to be there. The Game finally ended with Molly and Yose in FO and the Loonies winning the match... guess that's all that counts. Congrats Loonies on a well played game.

After some Time slot confusion the Loonies headed into battle at 11 p.m.
against the awesome Poetry in Motion Team. Loonies were represented by
fafa, LunarLady, Gulftide, Singshine, Hamlette, Chooch and TwoBees.
A lot of good-natured banter in the chatbox promised a fun game and we
were off to battle the PIM well oiled Machine. PIM displayed their
adeptness at the game in the first round with the Loonies putting up an
honorable battle. PIM wins game one. The Game ended with Coleridge and
Epic in FO.

Game Two turned into a heated battle of wits between the two teams. It
looked as it the PIM team might have another win under their belt after
sweeping the first two rounds. Then our Hamlette scored a large win and
fafa swept into action with several great acros and one of the most
challenging battles this reporter has ever seen occurred. The game ended
